Rafael Amador is a musician who experiments, takes risks, amuses himself so much like is delivered across his art. Author, composer, flamenco singer and guitarrist, has inherited of everything knowing of his forbears and is capable of feeling the shiver of a Soleá sung from the heart.

The most universal of the new Flamenco is probably the record "Blues of the Border" of the group "Pata Negra" that was forming with his brother Raimundo, children of guitarists' dynasty and varied artists who have lived in Tres Mil Viviendas. From the infancy they were playing in the street and were passing the saucer to the tourists of Seville, then they have listened to Jimmy Hendrix and this guitar they has "stung" also. Because they have grown with the generation of the rock, not only of the Anglo-Saxon rock, but of the Spanish rock that there had used the Flamenco of almost anecdotal way from the sixties. Already teenagers, Rafael and Raimundo were touching so much the electrical American guitar Fender Stratocaster as the Flamenco guitar of the Hermanos Conde or the Gerundina... Thereby they were escaping to the orthodoxy and were connecting with new gypsy and payas generations, Flamenco or rockers. Unforseeable, irregular and chaotic, but with an irreverent force and a genius in the shape of "duende", they have obtained the deepest merger up even today between the Flamenco and the blues and "Pata Negra" has entered forever the history.

Nevertheless, victims of his own marginalization and of the terrible destiny of the gypsies rooted out and rehoused in slums of the periphery, they have separated for intimate histories tied to the drug and today make career each one for his own side.

Rafael drags a black legend besides him and proclaims: "Everything what I like is illegal, it is immoral or he puts on weight". Always very elegant with his Moschino shirts, his jackets of velvet and his silk ties, he has been, according to his mother, the most Flamenco of her children.

Rafael loves his neighborhood: "Though I was stuffing myself, I always would have here a place. The neighborhood hooks. And the neighbors of the Tres Mil we are like fish: we go out to take air and immediately we return to get into the water".

He made two records in solitarily "Inspiración y locura" and "Como una vara verde".
